Okay…the techie sitting next to me at Mcd’s told me that I can go on the website and sign a 1 year contract for wifi for about $20/month —unlimited time! There must be a catch…all wireless services run no less than $60/month…what’s up????? I must figure this out.
it’s $20/month for unlimited MCDONALDS wifi. not just wifi. i hate that “word” btw – wifi. It’s so …. dorky. What does the “Fi” part stand for? I got the “WI” in “wireless” but “Fi”??
it’s not just san antonio – it’s all over – mcd’s is not free in san marcos either. neither is starbucks. i checked that out. they did have a “free wifi” day – but it was a one time deal. i think it’s silly but then when all you are paying for at McD’s is food off the $1 menu and at Starbucks … buying a large iced tea for $2, I guess there’s not much to complain about…. LOL!! It’s not like WE are funding their WiFi bill. LOL!
